Lord, please give me enough time to read all the Bible and complete at least a first pass of this page. I love your Word. Amen.
Wiki study method
Each book contains academic and historical information; a chapter-by-chapter outline and summary and an itemization of all figures, locations, and terms. Each item's article is written from its own, limited perspective.
This system brings to life all the figures major and minor and connects the myriad threads running from Genesis to Revelation. Also it makes me actually care about the locations and people groups, which was always a struggle for me.
I pray for understanding by the Holy Spirit and cross-reference with more Scripture, though I may supplement with Matthew Henry's Commentary, other commentaries, and contemporary sermons.
